Beautiful! God is all around us but we do not see Him in the clouds, the sun or even in the storm. Thanks for sharing a beautiful poem and "congrats" on being recognized.

This is very well written. Enjoyed reading all the signs the man ignored, which is so true with many people in today's world. Poor guy even the modern technology i.e. e-mail could not set him straight. Great set-up. Blessings, Carol

Thank you Carol. I actually based ' Tears ' on somebody that I knew, he was in a bad place at the time so his tight fitting blindfold inspired me to write this poem .

We can become so blinded by the pain that we become numb to the small subtle gifts that are around us. This is a great poem. I like hoe the signs jump from small to big back to small. Good job~CB

This is a powerful poem. God communicates to us in so many wonderful ways that if we aren't careful will be like the man in the poem and fail to see them. The piece gives us much to think about. The picture adds to the feeling of the poem.

This is sooooo true! I love the art. It is a perfect compliment to your poem, and your words are so very expressive. Everyone should be able to relate to exactly what you have written, mostly because they have watched friends and loved ones go through this same scenario.

I like your humorous take on prayer, as practiced by the man in your poem. After repeated attempts at communicating with the great man, he gets two emails, which he ignores.
Nice theme. The answers may be right in front of us, but we don't notice them.
