an interesting poem, Bic. The title of your poem, I wonder if this is a real word or merely a made up word. One note, without correction, we lack direction. (That was not intended to rhyme lol)
Correction is good for the soul, but those who despise correction are proud and unteachable. Even the 'corrector' get it wrong sometimes.
well done

It is a word my friend and it is what the poem tells you it is the clues are in there...

...no one should despise correction or be afraid of it but when that suggestion is made especially forcefully and the information is wrong suppose you dont know any better where does that leave you...thats the point IM trying to make if you see what I mean...

okay, i think I understand you. Like in a review of someones poem, one had better know specific rules regarding poetry, to make an informed correction of someone's write

This was a very interesting approach. But it works and I really like it. Great job making it infectious. I'll remember this one for a while.

Hmmm. This left me feeling a little...unsatisfied. I'm not sure what to think or feel about it, but I do know the sort of spinning repetition took from what could have been an interesting message.

Anyway, I don't believe there is anything technically wrong with your poem. It just wasn't in my taste.

The flow is nice and some description of the disease is given, but personally I think there should be more. I don't get much of an emotional reaction of of this poem, and some of the lines seem odd.

Wow! This was a brilliant piece of writing. Very clever use of syphilis disease as a metaphor for writing. Great use of alliteration throughout as well as a fluidity that really proves the overall clarity of the thought. Holly

Nicely done, and a subject that so few even think about. It's refreshing and sad at the same time. Makes me, as a reader, think about the things I have done with my life and realize that I am blessed. Others are no so lucky but I offer no pity, just sympathy. Pity is the greatest insult one can bestow. I love this poem.

Diseased writing? Yes, it abounds. That's what we're here to cure with honest, gentle critique, yes? The willing will be cured. :) nancy

Syphliography - a great name for diseased writing. It appears to be spreading like the clap in a whorehouse these days. To the writers who spread this disease - I say a pox on them. To the writers who are infected through no fault of their own - I recomment getting an innoculation to make them immune.

Rose.

Oh!
Syphilis writing disease?
A very interesting poem,
'permeating ambition'- very appealing phrase in context of syphilis.
Rhyming is nice,
I enjoyed reading.
