I guess you needed to find yourself and define yourself for what you wanted out of life. You made the reight decision at the right time and your poem is a good expression of that.

I knew that I wasn't the type person that will lie about my family and I can't be around or support that negative influence. Especially around my children. I wanted to always be a good role model. This poem should be available to all those kids ignored by their parents. When everything goes against them, they find it so hard to push through and succeed. An excellent poem with a good life lesson. Just because people can have children does not mean they should have children.

I feel your sorrow or perhaps your concern as to why you were not recognized for the things you did around the house. But your training is over now and you can live your life to please your self as you go. Thank you for your poem.

This is a nicely written poem about feeling hurt by the family that raised you. I am glad that you have overcome the pain of this childhood, and you are a good mother to your children despite the way you grew up. Good for you and god bless.
