James is very puzzled over Alfina behavior. I know witches use personal objects to cast spells on the object's owner. I think Alfina is doing something similiar. James is too educated and intelligent to think of something like that. I hope whatever Alfina is up to works.

Very good. Yes, James, for once, is limited by his intelligence. Seems everyone wants Alfina to succeed in whatever she is planning.

When God passes on curiosity, I was not in the bathroom. So I am now very, very curious of everything, Sasha. I hope you won't delay in posting your next chapter...:)

I'm almost finished with it and hope to post it tomorrow. I have 5 sisters and they were all in the bathroom that day...lol They possess no curiosity whatsoever.

NICE EXCHANGE BETWEEN JAMES AND CHARLIE. GOOD, CRISP, PRESSING DIALOGUE HELPED SET THE GROWING TENSION IN THE ROOM AND ABOUT THE GRANDMOTHER AND DAD. WELL DONE!
TAKE CARE,

Thank you very much. I like to do dialogue...I come from a big family and we all loved to talk! Thanks for the awesome 6 stars too.

The old ways of burying your troubles. Grandma thought she was helping. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

Did Grandma put some sort of spell on James' father. That might be interesting. I can't wait to see where you are going with this.

I'm working on that chapter right now. Hope to post it tomorrow. I am glad you liked this one.

An intriguing chapter, Sasha, leaving us all
wondering what grandmother is up to with those
shoes... some black magic perhaps??
I hugged them both and then left(,) feeling more confused than before I arrived.
Whether I like(d) it
Great.

Thanks for catching the spags. We are very close to the end. I am so pleased you have liked this so far.

Very good story continuation. Your characters are believable. I found a few little errors you might want to edit:
- her hands in a tight fist ( hands in tight fists pressed...)
- whether I like it or not ( whether I liked it or not)
This is quite a complicated plot but you apparently are doing well so far.

Thanks for the help with that sentence and catching the spag. I was at a loss as how to write it. Yes, it is a complicated plot but everything is finally starting to fall into place.

Very interesting read, not been with this story, but it has good drama, action, filled with suspense. The writer gives great details at the end to clear things up, (something, I need to get better at.) A real good read, enjoyed.

Thanks. I know it is difficult to read a single chapter and make any sense out of the subject. I sincerely appreciate your generous review.

I love Grandmother :-) James's mother and brother sure don't have much natural curiosity - I'm like James. I'd be consumed by curiosity the second she asked for the shoes, and I'd be jumping out of my skin when she left them in the garden :-)
Whatever she is conjuring up or setting in motion, I'm on her side :-) Brooke

Me too. Yes, I have a exaggerated curiosity that has been the cause of far too many problems in my life. My mother told me I came out of the womb speaking and my first word was "WHY" and the second was "Why Not?". Sadly, nothing has changed since.
