You are too silly.
Don't you realize that FanStory is your next life, and you have ALL those things already?
What a delightful little read. Enjoyable, and I saw nothing to correct, but then I was busy reading... plus one simply does not correct the work of the perfect human being.
Anyway, I truly hope your vision of your next adventure is fulfilled, just the way you want it.
Best to you,

My mother believed in reincarnation. A few weeks before she died she told me she wanted me to spread her ashes (obviously after she died) around a tall, beautiful, tree with a fantastic view that would live for several hundred years. She said she wanted her ashes to be absorbed into the roots and up into the tree so she could live her next life as that tree. She didn't want to come back as a human because she had had enough stress in this one and wanted to spend the next couple of hundred years resting as she enjoyed the view. I enjoyed your satirical story and have my fingers crossed for you.

What a great idea. I've toyed with cremation. I think now, I will go ahead and have it put in a will someday. I just saw a movie called "The Tree Of Life"... a wonderfully odd, but beautiful show. Thank you Sasha. I hope you are happy and feeling good! Luv, Susan

I hope you get some of that in this life. You certainly have respect as a writer and a friend. Look for the good around you and chalk up the bad to some other idiots view. You are valuable!!! Debbie

This is a fun piece, a rant if you will, that covers everything on every woman's wish list. We're all with you on this. The piece is very well written with humor that has a bite. And what it this is IT--the only life we'll ever have? And what if, should we be reincarnated, we come back as a cinch bug or a tree? What will we do then? Probably be very happy being whatever we are.
So let's live it up now, do as much as we can that's on our "bucket list". I sure am with you on the wishing-for-more-talent thing!

This is an interesting article. I can only imagine what it would be like to come back and to have all of that. However, knowing my luck - if I came back, mostly likely, I would end up being a tree inside of a dog pound. :-) JW

I love the way you tossed this out in your classic style. Wouldn't we all like that but I think we'd have to demand more time too because that sounds like a very busy life. Just in case you don't get a second change, remember you're pretty darn talented like it is. A lot of people would be envious of you for being so clever.

I am just striving to become a 'lady' in my next life, so far I have missed that word being around my name in my two pasts I have written about and certainly this one - although each one has improved over the prior. LOL
I love your ambitious wants here and you may get your wish, I do think it is fun to ponder on. I think it is a wonderful write, made me smile and I hope my wishing to be a lady comes with all those things you stated here - only wish I had written this...thank you for the smile on my face - Dinah

Hi Dinah! I will never get these wishes... now or later, but when I get ticked, I may as well let it all hang out? Lol! We just have to deal. HUGS for this most gracious review. Wow! xoxo! Susan

If you haven't asked for it, don't be surprised that you haven't got it...an old cliche, but a valid point.
Most people can document what they don't want with familiar accuracy, but rarely know what they'd slide into place to replace their misery.
Susan, you need to find a way to get some of what you are searching for and I'd ask you to take one thing on yor list and make it a priority. It has to be something you control. You can't pray for respect from others until you deem yourself worthy of self respect...it all begins internally. We teach people how to treat us by our surrender to their darkest effort. If we accept that premise, we get exactly what we bargained for. If we refute it, demand that our treatment lives up to a higher standard, we get better treatment.
You are not daydreaming or ranting. You are verbalizing what you know is your right. It's like a diet. The first pound you need to lose is between your ears, the wistful and elusive habit of fear. The known is always easier to accept, less disappointment, probable outcome, but a simple dream, not technicolour, is attainable.
Figure out one small thing, keep it a secret, and barrel head first towards that goal. You'll reach the ribbon, then try again. Ever so slowly you will find you are walking, or stumbling, down a new street and the view will be different.
Wonderful essay. for sure, and inspiration for others. Now, what about you?
