How true this is. Too many families and friends never really talk to one another with out an electronic signal in between them . It is so sad that our children will not know how to communicate the real way. Good right!!!Debbie

As for your writing, very nicely done. Easy to read; pretty good flow. If I might, one suggestion for the last line of the 4th stanza "Into the realm where none need chase". As for the topic, you are right on. Far too much wasted, precious time. It reminded me of the old song "Cat's in the Cradle" about not putting the priority on the right things. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Your poem says so much that is relevant to me. A family can so easily get lost in the technology - instead of the reverie of being that many people sitting around a table with at least a few things in common...Is this what we're coming to? Silence in the presence of "loved ones?" Great poem.
