Great suggestive photo. As I was reading, I was expecting a departure by death, so I am pleased it sounds like a happy ending.
Should that last line:The very spot where we met all those years ago, you and I for all time. . .Read "you and me"? Just curious. Thank you so much for sharing and it will bring back memories to many people of "that special" place. Blessings, Keri

This is a beautifully written poetic story. I've spent a lot of time in Jersey and I think this is the way that the Jersey Shore should be portrayed... instead of the way it usually is nowadays!

Love this, and have spent time on the Jersey Shore. This brought back a flood of memories of those wanton fun filled days. But beyond that, this poem is divine. Love endures and one true love is not a myth.

To be honest , I expected an erotic poetry looking at the picture but as I read , I found it a love poem .The words are easy to understand and thought clear , flow good . Should appeal to one & all equally.Excellent Composition!
