I'm afraid that this is only the first time I have read your works. Fantastic is that now I must find and read the six chapters that preceed it! I must know more about this story, indeed. It is no wonder you are and accomplished author. I hope some day to achieve even a portion of perfection, as you seem to have done. Very good, no, fantastic job!

Thank you for finding this first half and reviewing it. You are welcome to browse my pages anytime. I will be going back to Bellow City where the Vermel live(Under Earth) in the next chapter. Several have fanned me just to keep up. I am not to your page to check you out as well. :) barking dog

I will "fan" you as well. This is a story worth reading.

Are you going to take your 'Hell Found Me' post forward? That's how 'Gima' got started. She was a site contest entry and won third place by committee vote. Think of taking your characters forward. You have backstory on the slain mother and lots to carry you forward. Even the nursemaid could be interesting ... Just saying, if your characters are as real to you as they read on the page, then you can write them forward.

I'm not quite sure where to go or how to go about that-I had never thought of it until now.

I read somewhere to start with short stories because they have all the elements of a book. Once you can do that well, then with a little study and a lot of reading of people who write books ( two here on FS are: Margaret Snowdon and William Deen. They are always posting chapters.)you can begin to try a book or novella. I read a of couple how to books before I started on 'Gima'(a first try). I can let you know what they are if you are interested.
As you write you will develope what they call a voice, a style of your own. It will show first in your short stories. I find poetry interesting, but it didn't develope the skill that I was told that I should hone. Imagination is a gift, you should use it, that's what I was told to do, and so should you.

thank you. I will consider very seriously what you have shared. Let's see where this might go!

Thank you, Tira for your generous review. The first half of this chapter is also posted today. I hated breaking it into two parts but it was too long to post as one. The first half helps this section make more sense. Thank you for reading and your kind words.:)barking dog

Thank you, peggles for your review and enjoying this story. You may have missed chapter 6 which is also posted today. It's the first half of this valley story. In chapter 8 we go back to Bellow City. Again, thank you so much for the review.:)barking dog

It's posted for bucks. I posted two at the same time since they were written as one continuous LONG chapter. It reads better as one continuous chapter, but was too long to post. I tried to break it in a good spot. It's really hard to post a book here. Chapter lengths vary. Oh, well.:)ellen xxx
