Integrity is doing what is right, no matter the cost. There is no greater cost, as you say here, than to give up the only thing you ever really had...the honest truth.

Yes, many things would be different in the world if people of authority would handle things differently we would have a better life on Earth and the World would sure be more heavily! I really enjoyed reading your poem. I can totally relate to this, being a mother of seven children. I try to apply spiritual principles on them too, and you just hope that they will use them. Great poem! :)
