We seem to exist on a plane that insists upon violent actions and reprisals. You have written a very good poetic voice on this very subject. This was just a delight to have read and written this response for.... John

While blue sky, sun,
moon and stars
dance above,
impartial.
Superb ending to this loud statement and commentary. Your flow of word and sentence is exceptional, but your final stanza shines. Great work. Sean

I liked the way you showed the serenity of the universe while things are chaotic here on earth. If man could, they would destroy the universe too. Very sad. Great imagery. Your friend, Cody

Exceptional. You identify the chaos in the world in recent times very vividly and clearly distinguish between the calm and regal universe as opposed to man's destructiveness and greed.
These words are exceptionally meaningful:
'humanity's chaotic rivers of discontent'
and
'While blue sky, sun,
moon and stars
dance above,
impartial.'
because they give reassurance of brighter visions for mankind if we just trust in a stronger Almighty Power who reigns victorious over evil.
Beautifully written with great insight. Thanks you.

This poem is well-written and polished. I love the contrast
of serenity and war you have created so clearly. Good, clean style. I particularly like:
"chaotic rivers
of discontent."
I am also a fan of Pablo Neruda, but I can read him only in English. I always feel like there's a small part I am deprived of when reading translated works. My daughter begins university soon and is minoring in Spanish which I'm really pleased about as I think it is enriching to study a language other than your native tongue.
Enjoyed your poem very much, thanks :D

I enjoyed the emotions in this poem. Starting out with calmness, moving into wars and back to the tranquility of sky, moon and stars. You've captured many sensations here. Carol
