Your essay is well written and motivational. I love your excellent narrative voice. I love you metaphor of comparing life to 'Dancing With The Stars' scenario with a judge casting a deciding vote. Excellent questions you ask the reader. I especially liked your descriptive writing, hear is an example:
Our body is the connection to the physical world, including physical health, financial well-being, family, work and relationships. The soundness of our mental state depends on our thoughts, ideas and curiosity. Our emotional strength is tied to our attitude toward life, not what happens to us, but our reactions to those events. Spiritual fitness requires that we get in touch with the small, still voice that lives deep within our souls, and it involves making time to remember through a child's eyes how it feels to completely believe in good.
I loved your closing line:
Balance is the answer. Those who acquire harmony among the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of their existence collect the winners' trophies at life's end. They each will say without reservation, "I won."

A fantastic philosophical essay about winning. It is written in simple words but it expresses great ideas that go directly to our hearts. It says many truths and it chooses to assert instead of judging. Well done:
"Winning in life is a matter of balance. The foundation for peace, satisfaction and true-life success is built on a four-cornerstone base, i.e. the search for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual abundance. Those two people took another step toward all four goals in their lives and gave a lift to all who observed them. Their moment of paradise made the world a better place, if only momentarily and only for themselves and those who enjoyed the show.È?

B - Neanderthals, Romans, African, Polinesian and American native tribes, Asian or Hindus civilizations just to mention some of them, have developed the same set of values we have today?
C - What are the trends we may expect and foster in our sons and grandchilds to help them have a better future.

Probably not because mankind was much younger. It is only age that allows us to begin to realize the value of balance.
B - Neanderthals, Romans, African, Polinesian and American native tribes, Asian or Hindus civilizations just to mention some of them, have developed the same set of values we have today?
I'm not sure I understand this question well enough to offer my opinion.
C - What are the trends we may expect and foster in our sons and grandchilds to help them have a better future.
I think the trends we need to encourage and foster in our children are those of personal responsibility and respectful tolerance of those who are different, no matter what their differences are, appearance, beliefs, goals, etc. My experience has been that when I've gotten to know my enemy, he was no longer my enemy. In the words of Will Rogers, I've never met a man I didn't like. The problem is we too rarely take the time to truly "meet" our fellow men.
