This is a great little story. It sounds as though there was a winner after all. Maybe something even better than winning the lottery could come of this. I admire you ability to make the reader smile with so few words.

This was cute, but I have a question. Was he selling her the tickets, expecting her to take him to the dinner and dance, or was he offering to take her on a date? I liked this story. No spags or inconsistencies that I can tell.
Nice job,
Carol.
Best regards,
Sharesy

Hullo Carol ...
In such a short submission, you have told an interesting story and the finishing touch is the best - with the old lady saying - "If you don't, I will!"
I enjoyed this very much and, as it is a Contest entry, I wish you well.
With love from .... Nanette Mary.

Hi Carol,
I use to complain about not winning the lottery until someone asked me if I bought a ticket. I said "you have to buy a ticket?' I was kidding, of course. So a month ago I bought 10 powerball tickets...never won a thing. I should write the governor about that! Cute story that gave me a chuckle. Well done,
blessings, chey

Here again you've turned a short situation into an enjoyable, imaginative story. I like how the twinkle in his eye conveys so much. Good writing.

Love you take on winning the lottery. So creative and hopefully. It's a reminded that not all winnings come in rectangular green packages. Great Job.

An amusing read in so little words. Aa complete story in fact. Makes the reader want to know what came after. Shame you missed the contest, this would have stood a good chance.
