A sorrowful love poem - and maybe the most difficult kind of sorrow to imagine. Yet, this one still is hopeful - love for the child will always live on in the heart. A touching entry. md

I may be wrong but this sound like a poem about abortion the killing of children however I may be wrong and I apologize, but I'd definitely disagree with abortion thank you well done Alexander five stars

You are walking way down the wrong road...The poem is about the death of my son (in a tragic accident) and how he remains living in my heart. Smiles to you....

This is a great write for 15 words. The meaning is direct and very understandable. The artwork/picture is wonderful with your scribe. Goos luck in the contest!

Thank you for the kind comments. Someone thought it was about abortion. Stopped my heart in it's tracks...I hoped the reader would understand that the loss of my child could not remove his love from my heart. Smiles to you....

There are no other words
but to say I'm deeply sorry
for a loss such as this. May
the many tears you shed in time
hollow the heart where joy can
grow once again.

I have been blessed throughout my life...but the loss remains...it knocks on my door stronger every now and then...but his love shines brighter than the sorrow. Smiles to you....

A beautiful, simple little poem speaking of a lost child. A stark contrast between the second and third lines. And I found I could read the last line in two ways, either that the child remains in your heart, or in your heart you feel the child still loves. For me, that last line made the poem extra special.
Kind regards. Sally

Sorry, just re-read my review and there is a typo. I should have said "lives" in the penultimate line. Sorry about that. S

I can't imagine the loss of losing a child, the pain must be unbearable - I can only say that I will pray for you, and ask God to look after your heart.
