This is a darling little poem. I know staring at the moon and stars can make you feel like you're not alone. I loved this one. Great job.

Begin Again,

I absolutely adore your poem, "The Brightest Star is You!" Your well chosen words combined with that precious picture makes for a wonderful naani poem!

I have counted 26 syllables in this...with 'Celestial' being three syllables. Perhaps I am wrong.. I hope you do not mind me mentioning that:)

Overall this is a very great entry!

What a sweet Naani, Carol. There is something comforting about seeing the stars fill the night sky on a clear evening. Much like seeing that special someone out there in the crowd "twinkling at me". Good luck in the contest.

Carol, you've got a gift for poetry writing, and this one is sooo beautiful, and I'm sure it resonates with so many of us. I love looking at the stars at night - beautiful!

    Thank you...I have a friend in Australia and I told her though we never have met face to face, I will always hold her dear to my heart and she can see me smiling at her in the stars. I shall have to find one for you as well. Smiles my dear friend, Carol

The stars have often had that effect on me - it truly is hard to feel lonely when you gaze at the stars - I always feel a connection with the rest of the universe and all those others gazing at the stars too :-) This is quite thoughtful and lovely, my friend - a wonderful naani poem :-) Brooke
