It's difficult to pick up a story in progress, because it takes a bit of work to puzzle out the character relations. However, this chapter had enough clues in it to be able to do that. I congratulate you on that. The dialog flowed well, and the characterizations were clear, distinct and consistent. I enjoyed reading this chapter.

Thank you. While it is a book, many of my chapters can stand alone. I sincerely appreciate your kind review.

Sometimes baring our souls can be the hardest thing to do, especially to our own children. Why is that I wonder?
Your story as it unfolds, is both dramatic and traumatic.
One cannot read without being touched.

What a gritty story for a biography. I have heard that owning up to what you have done is the first and hardest step to make. Well-written. Packed with tension and emotion. Ray.

I can't imagine what you went through and are still going through. You had a lot to deal with, and to me it's a wonder that you deal with it at all.
