This is very well expressed. A lot of people have trouble with rhyming couplets and it seems forced because of it. That is not the case here. The poem moves smoothly and the rhyming couplets moves well from one line to the other. The imagery was very good and apt to your subject. Well done.

There are many gifted people. The love of art and being able to create is a gift from God. Not all of us can do that. But we have other talents if we use them. Your poem flows well with great rhymes. V.A.

Sue - I've seen a documentary on Kurt Wenner and how he draws these street painting. I was impressed. You poem captures the spirit and passion of the artists. Well written with good rhyme and flow. Charlie

This is a really great poem. I try to express my self through visual art as well as writing. I love to paint and draw, it's a different kind of challenge than writing but I think they each have their own degrees of difficulty. I wouldn't pick one over the other. Great job on this!

"they seek to find a voice, their own, to be refined"...that really says it all. It doesn't matter if it is painting, music, writing, or whatever form of art.....the individual voice needs to shine through, and evolve. Great poem!

How true it is that artist are a driven people. I feel the same way about my writing. It is a little thing that wriggles until it gets out. Great poem.
