Hello Sue! I'm delighted you entered this contest and your entry is a great one! Your story is so cute and I bet you still talk about his ride down the White House banister. Best wishes in the contest and thanks again for submitting this great nonet.

Sue - Funny story about your trip with the kids to the White house. Funny how kids think about those things we revere. Enjoyed it. Charlie

This is a cute and well done story in a nonet, made me smile. He will always be able to brag that he did something at the White House that few have ever done, lol. Good luck in the contest! Karen

Not many have done it except kids in the White House and their friends, I suppose. Who knows, maybe Old Abe even had a go! HA!! Thanks for the great review, Ray. xx Sue

Well you told your story well in this Nonet. Oh, I have so many memories and funny stories from that age with my kids as well. The word "runt" is a little harsh I think.
Wouldn't "guy" or whatever other name, work just as well and be more loving sounding? just me perhaps

You are so right! In a larger context, runt would not sound as harsh. But, "guy" makes the reader more sympathetic towards him. Thanks again for another excellent suggestion. I always appreciate your honest reviews. And thank you for this one. :-)) Sue

Cute story well told in nonet format. I like the non-fiction aspect that this actually happened..;) I'll bet the secret service were a bit upset. But Ryan's age makes the whole affair totally understandable and humorous.
I got a big laugh out of this story.
Great job. Good luck in this contest!

I see, I talk about my cat so you gotta bring in the big guns with the kids! That's almost too cute!! How can I win against this?
Mine still rhymes though!

Very, very cute...I enjoyed this a lot. Aussie kids are great - they teach you Americans some perspective on things!! It's a great story and well-written. Good luck with the contest. :)
