I keep in touch with them. Karen has both her and her husband's health to contend with. Sandra gets a lot of ugly faces from her doctor because she was supposed to rest after the last attack and didn't. And Deborah, needs to take it easy also. they all say it is temporary.
And we hope so. Tom Botts, also is taking time off for a while. His knees are giving him fits which means sitting at a desk is problematic. They all are feeling a bit of burn out. I miss the already like crazy. Karen

Thanks for the read and kind comments. They all say it is temporary. Add one more. Tom Botts, the best non fiction writer on here is leaving for a while. His knees are giving him the gyps. It is hard to sit at the desk to use the computer. He is old school like me.

Add Tom Botts, the best non fiction tales on here. Here will be gone for a while because of his knees. They are giving him the gyps. He can't sit at a desk without pain. They all say it is temporary as they all want to be here. Let us hope all the health issues will be fixed quickly. Let us all pray for our friends daily. Karen

Your poem really touches the heart. The sadness comes through so clearly. Especially with lines like "Empty spaces will be felt". You can feel someone important leaving. It's beautifully written and is so touching.

I hear you on this one, Karen.
I don't know what it is, but even though I have only been here a short while, I have rapidly formed close relationships with quite a few people. Maybe its because through our writing we each reveal a bit of ourselves and so in our vulnerability we mutually support each other. That leads to a bond forming however tenuous at first.
I shall have to ponder this.

Great little Tanka that covers the feelings of all of us. Sometimes we need breaks from even the most fun thing we do, time to not have to think really hard and can just enjoy relaxation. I wish them the most restful of summers and a fall of returning energy and joy.
