a great tribute poem to your Mom. I can relate I lost my mom to Alzheimer's in 2007. I was her favorite son because only I really got her. she had a big influence on me although she was a difficult person to deal with at times.

both of my parents a number of years ago within
4 months of each other, but their health wasn't
good, and I am glad they didn't have to suffer.
-Very good opening verses, and examples of
the things she would do for you.
-It is difficult when you move away, and
you don't have the same connection.
-I can relate to your feelings about
wishing she was still here.
-A very good concluding verse.

Hi Jacquelyn:
I, too, lost my mom a few years ago. At almost three years now, tears came as I watched one of our favorite movies for the umpteenth time, as it evoked memories of her and I watching that movie as a show in Vegas. It is Mamma Mia. I'm not sure that I'll ever watch it without shedding a few tears.
I feel that level of emotion from your poem as I read it tonight. I'm so sorry for your loss. We will persevere, our mothers raised us both to make it through.

This is a beautiful tribute to your mom...you must have loved her very much. I lost my mom in the year 2001, but it fèels like yesterday. We were very close, I miss her a lot. A very well done contest entry..Best of luck.

This is a heartfelt and emotional tribute to the woman who loved, nurtured and cared for you...your mom. I'm sure that during her lifetime she knew how much you appreciated having her in your life.
