Congratulations on your milestone post! A super achievement. But my goodness, this chapter is a big one. Totally unforeseeable development in your story. Wondering if the real killer did it and then put the hammer back into Dougie's hand to make him look like the culprit. Oh boy! Can't wait for the next.

Oh my goodness, this is a shocking revelation Gretchen! I wonder what happened here? I expect this situation will take some unravelling as not everything is as it appears. The cat is out of the bag about the money which always brings beggars out of the woodwork and I hope Miranda stays safe. Your muse certainly returned with a vengeance here Gretchen. Her world is falling down around her in shambles. Her secret is out along with a horrible picture. Then Waylon's teacher is killed, and it looks like Dougie did it. There are reasons someone should kill Waylon's teacher, but not reason for Dougie. He knew his son was having trouble with that teacher but there was no reason to believe he was being molested.
