It is too early in the week for me to give all my sixes to you. But this story easily deserves a seven. It is lyrical in its beauty and creates a mental picture that is as beautiful as the words. It is really a kind of unrhymed poetry, yet not quite blank verse.

Well, you're 18 points away from second place in the ranked author running, and should be second anyway. But we know that story. I didn't realize it but, Wendy must post continually. But you are the number one novelist, Barbara is second, and Jim isn't even close in third. I'm not superstitious, but just so I don't give you a heart attack, I'll wait to say the C word when the tallies are in. Thanks for sharing.

I hope I can make it to second...Wendy deserves first because she's been posting shorts all year and I'm not greedy. I'll keep my fingers crossed for novelist and be thrilled of course. I know how FanStory works so I'll wait until January 1st..... But thank you for helping me reach my goal. I've got a few more of the pond stories to hopefully push me over the top. I appreciate your support even with the silly ones. Thank you so much.

Very well written I enjoyed very much listening to it. I especially like that very last line that you use because it is such a poignant message. May you have a lovely evening and may God bless you and give you a wonderful new year. Patricia.

What a beautiful and magical story. Thinking back to your last story, Jeremiah became a frog in order for the release of the stone sister, and for the pond to become magical, and it is a sacrifice he was willing to make because of love, which is now the key eleemnt of the pond. Lovely writing, and very imaginative.

Well, I have to agree. Love is a magic all its own, and perhaps the true food of life.
This is a wonderful children's story. I can see young boys and girls reading this with wonder in their eyes. It has the perfect wholesome theme for young readers.
Great work. You're on a roll, today.

Carol,
Another fine Timmy story. How sweet he brought his friend to share the magic with him. Great story I wish I believed in the magic.
Well done my friend
