You certainly met the syllabic form of a 5-7-5 to share the Good News of Jesus taking away our sin and guilt from the fallen nature we inherited from Adam. Praising Him with you1
Best wishes in the contest!

This is a good poem for the 5-7-5 contest. You might want to change that last line slightly, however, to Sin has been removed. I suspect most readers here believe your sins are gone before you reach heaven. Best of luck in the contest and have a lovely New Year.

Carol,
Thank you for the wonderful review. A lot of people think you go to heaven upon death. That is not the case. You take a dirt nap until Jesus returns. He calls those out of the graves first and then the rest of his children follow, only if they know him. The rest of the people die in the fire on earth.

There are many different beliefs about death, so you may receive other suggestions.

You are very welcome, Cecilia. Hope you are doing better.

I have good days and bad days. I had to pick up dog food and started crying when I went in to pick it up. Next week I bring my baby girl (ashes) home and that will probably gut punch me again. Crying is good for the soul. I have 2 other dogs at home, but their not her.
-
Thanks for sharing Cecilia. Maybe your other dogs can bring you some comfort.
-
Pam,
They do to a point. Angel would always jump off the couch and squeal when I got home. Her little wiggly bottom going a hundred miles a minute. Now I come home to absolute silence. The other dogs could care less. It's the little things like that, that I miss. Everyday gets a little better.
-
Thanks for sharing, Cecilia. It is like people; no two are alike. I am glad each day is getting a little better.
-
Thank you Pam. I appreciate you.

You can't go wrong with The Holy Spirit as your muse, Cecilia. I sense the Lord is attending to you as you grieve for Angel -- and that, my friend is a blessing. Used to be when Haiku "always" had a seasonal reference, but I think in the modern day rules have broadened.
At any rate -- great message for all who have faith and lean on Jesus!

Karenina,
I believe he is here helping me through my grief. Somedays are better than others. Today is rough because its been a week. The other day I went to the vet for dog food and lost my shit. It's not a happy place for me. Next week I have to go and pick her up (ashes) and bring her home. I know I will lose it then.
Thank you for the wonderful review and thank you for being patient with me while I grieve.

Grieving has no timetable. It really does take as long as it takes. I'm not being patient. I've been there and I hope you feel my support.
-
I do feel your support and I appreciate it.

I like that your poem speaks of a mission to share our Savior with the Fanstory family. God can be what we want Him to be. Today has allowed Him to become the creative poet you speak of victory.

Yes, the best way I know for removing sin is confess it to the Lord, and He can remove it as far as the east is from the west, (Psalm 103:12) this is terrific advice Cecilia, well done, blessings Roy
