Nice put together. Interesting graphic. Thanks for sharing. I must admit to finding some Japanese poetry difficult to evaluate. All the best for the contest. Take care and have a most wonderful day.

Thank you very much.

-Nice artwork and presentation, Sanku.
-You wrote a good poem with a good topic.
-You set the scene well in the beginning,
and then describe them "invading everywhere."
-Very good concluding lines how how
humans deal with this situation.
-Well done. Have a great 2025!

7-7-7-5 count. (I had to look it up to refresh my memory)
Aren't we humans into "overkill" though?
Poor ants. Teeny tiny posts and we crush them with giant feet!
Anything to save a picnic, I guess!
Cute!

true They are so tiny but we are so helplessagainst them!
-
My fear of bugs is entirely disproportionate to their size!
Comment from lyenochka
That's a good contrast between the orderly and "regimental" ants marching everywhere compared to the "huge humans" in their "helpless rage" against such an army.

Comment from Dolly'sPoems
Ants are tenacious and they often follow the leader blindly and get into the corners where they cannot be stamped on. I once baked some scones and put them in a cupboard high up with the lid off to cool off. The ants marched from the floor, climbed along the cabinets and into the high cupboard to eat my scones! I was horrified! I had to throw them all away. I enjoyed your lively post riddled with ants, love Dolly x x x

Yes, unfortunately we humans do this, and most times without even knowing it, and yes, they do invade and can cause quite the obstacle sometimes, a wonderful read for the challenge club****kahpot

I love the flow of your writing here. Nature provides us with so much material. Thanks for sharing your perspective on ants. I'm not sure what a dodoitsu poem is but I hope you met all the technical elements of the craft. Nevertheless, congratulations on your work!

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. I don't like ants in my house but outside they are fun to watch. I am not a fan of fire ants; their bite isn't at all good. I enjoyed reading.

Red ants are insects I have not seen in my life time. Reading your poetry makes ants seem dangerous to humans. There are so many styles of poetry and I liked that you've taken the time to introduce this style. I like a poet who educate the readers.
