Yep, tears here. Especially since Argo (Blondie in the stories) died yesterday. She was never the same after ingesting rate poison a few months ago, It affected her nervous system, and she could no longer be a therapy dog, as she could scarcely walk. She was Sunny's best friend, despite the huge differences in size. A beautiful and moving story (and I appreciated that there was a Sunny in it!!). Well written, of course!

A dog is an important part of the family, and a loving friend who is always there to comfort you. I grew up with many dogs and know they leave a hole in your heart when they are gone. Thank you for this beautiful story to help ease Cecilia's pain as she thinks of Angel being greeted by other welcoming, friendly dogs. Thank you also, for sharing your peaceful thoughts with us.

I have never been without at one or two dogs so they are always family to me...and spoiled of course. It is so devastating when their time comes to pass over the bridge. I tell my son we will be stampeded by dogs when it's our turn. LOL

This is a very precious story you have penned for Cecilia. You used such great heartfelt and descriptive words. You almost had me in tears. We have lost so many of our cats that we love and each death was hard. My love and heart goes out to Cecilia and her other dog too. They miss their buddies~ love and blessings, Teri

I hope that each of my stories touches someone and reminds them about how special love is...regardless of a person or a pet. If I can move you and touch your heart...I am blessed.

This was very nicely done. Really, I find many things written about pets make me want to hurl they are so fluffy and saccharine. Yours is clear and heartfelt. Ordinary conversations. 100% believable, so I think I will believe it too! Karen

Cecilia must be most comforted by this gesture, Carol. It is so difficult to lose a pet who is a member of our family, and I know she's been grieving the loss of her "Angel." Kratos too must be confused and upset that his sister has crossed that rainbow bridge. Your big heart is showing!

What a sweet gesture for Cecelia in her time of grief. I know it will bring her some comfort. This is a heartache we sign up for when we bring an animal into our lives and yet it is a reality we accept because not having them with us for the time we are given is not an option. Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful little story of hope for Cecilia. I've felt so bad for her knowing how she has cried, like we all do when we lose our pets. This story has to be light in a gloomy day for her.

That's a sweet story in the midst of sadness. I've never read a story where the dog is crossing the rainbow bridge when you get to hear about the dogs feelings. Cute story, very creative and heartwarming.

Thank you so much, Lana. I have my own pet cemetery in my back yard..down my the river where I always sit. Had it since I was a very young girl. I like to think their spirits are looking down on me and they too are happy knowing we will meet again. Wishing you the best New Year filled with love, joy and happiness.
Hugs, Carol
