The west did great harm to a lot of people in eastern Europe, especially in Czechoslovakia.

Again, all these chapters are six-worthy. I also lived on campus and briefly pledged a fraternity, then decided against it. I was a few years younger, so 1957 was my year, with movies like "The Giant Claw" and "The Deadly Mantis" playing downtown. Romance would come afterward.

In the fifties, I loved to go to those movies. Nowadays, they're too explicit nd poorly written.

We ended the 30 min. sessions holding hands singing a prayerful song. (probably should spell out minute, the period there takes the reader out of this story)
In the Union of South Africa, black people risk their livelihoods, and their lives, in the struggle (period after struggle.)
1956 (you shouldn't begin a paragraph with numbers. Either write out the years or rearrange the sentence so it doesn't begin with the year. You did this quite a few times.)

I didn't know about the rule of not starting with a number. Not everyone follows it. I just saw it don't that way in text. I'll try to remember that.

You're the author. I use professional editors before a book goes to be published. It's what they say. I've noticed well known authors don't need to follow editing rules. Their name sells the book. I'm still attempting to get established. I need to follow the rules. Just trying to share what I've learned.
