Officer Carey is going to figure out about Dodie Rae. She is having a hard time reconciling her past.

I worked at a crisis center as peer counselor and advocate for victims of rape and domestic violence. It's such a perverse crime from some one who is supposed to love you.

It does seem Riley is abused by his wife. I am curious what Officer Carey is wanting with Bay Lynn. Probably checking on her alibi. I do really like this story. You're doing a great job writing it.
