Certainly not the type of Christmas poem I've read lately. It is well written and your anguish really comes through. It caused me to stop and think through some of my own Christmas memories. Not all are shiny and bright.

The author's words are expressed well with strong emotions. I found the poem to be sad, descriptive and creative. I pondered on how childhood trauma can affect one's adult life. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is perfect and goes well with these words.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I was sexually at Christmas time and my mother never believed me, because it was her boyfriend. So I had to deal with the best I could. I was only 10.

Perhaps you should. I was eleven when my grown woman babysitter tried to use me as a grown man. It's ruined every relationship I have ever had. She's dead now. I hope she found peace. She shot herself. I'm too weak for that. I only told one other person. Thanks for your comments after the poem.

Abuse, or I'm assuming, but their can be some reasons for traumatic times, but there is never a good thing about abuse or even anything thst Ron's a child of their childhood, God doesn't like it. Beautifully written Cecilia, blessings Roy

Thank you for the wonderful review. You are correct I was sexualy molested by my mother's boyfriend and she never believed me. Please pray for me. I hate this time of year as the depression kicks in

So much is expected and life will always get in the way of making plans. It's important that you spend the period in a way that suits you the best, probably in nature where the birds soar just simply because they can. Your acrostic poem flows freely and is one of your best, not least because I didn't even recognise it in this format until the end. That's the sign of a good acrostic for me. Just - memori(e)s. So much is expected and life will always get in the way of making plans.
