Carol,
What a great story for Christmas. I'd say Mr. Jingles learned his lesson about taking something that does not belong to him.
Well done my friend

I hope he got the lesson anyhow. I'm only 80 reviews behind...that's what I get for traveling, but it was worth it. Thanks as always.

You honor me with the "great storyteller" but I thank you so much for your kindness. I love to write and make others happy.... even my characters. LOL

This is a delightful children's Christmas story with lessons to be learned. If I still taught preschool, I would have fun reading this story and watching young faces react to Rudolph's nose being removed and later shining bright as he led Santa's sleigh. Great story.

Exactly! I can envision their eyes and how they would react...it's the best part of Christmas joy...the young ones and their feelings about it all.

This is a cute story, well written. Kids should love it, and there are good messages in there also about taking care of one's responsibilities and working together as a team to get things done. Cute picture! Blessings. Carol

Thank you for the time and comments, Carol. Since you said kids should lov it, did you mean to give me three stars? It's okay if you did, but I hope you could tell me where I went wrong. Thanks as always.

No, no, no! I'm so sorry. Not sure how that happened. I re-saved the review with a better score, so I hope that helps.
I'll let Tom know and see if he can delete that. So sorry!

It's not a problem, Carol. I didn't think you meant it or I wouldn't have mentioned it. I know you are always so kind.

OK, I finally figured out how to email Tom, and let him know. Deepest apologies. I'm glad you let me know; I would never have known.

This is a really cute story. It should be in a children Christmas book. It is the kind of story little kids would love. I can picture it illustrated and ready for a Christmas purchase.

Jingles learned a very serious lesson. This is a wonderful story and should be shared with children. Would you mind if I read it to my little granddaughters when they're here for Christmas?
Rudolph, shaking the snow from his fur, politely declined. "Sorry, Jingles. (declined, (I had to think about this one a little bit. I finally decided declined is speech.)

You need to get this published as a Christmas children's book. The visual imagery and characters are outstanding. I only saw one teeny plot hole. If Rudolph couldn't risk lending his nose briefly to Jingle because it might not shine brightly for Santa, how did he make it through Christmas deliveries since Jingle used it all night? Inquiring minds wonder? gayla

Rudolph didn't trust Jingles so he used the charging as a ploy, but his nose is self-charging because one never knows when it will be needed. thanks for the awesome stars and comments. Glad you enjoyed it.
