She certainly has a tough decision on her hands but I don't think she should make that decision until she knows 100% what has been going on with him. Good chapter.

Thank you. She is hoping things might work out. It is best to be sure before you make a permanent decision.

I am sure glad she went to the lawyer. He is hiding stuff. She needs to see what assets they have. She can't trust him, and he has probably gone through all their money. She will probe=ably have to sell the house to have any money. Karen

Out of six but I wish to compliment you for a job well done. Your interview with Styles was perfect, something that sounds as the real thing. Lets hope things turn out for the good. Twenty years and four precious lives is something not to waist. Again, well done,

Thank you, Chuck. I had to do some research to know what a lawyer and client might say to each other. I appreciate the review.

Marsha is certainly growing in confidence and appearing every bit the practical and pragmatic wife she needs to be in these circumstances. I like the way your story is going, Beth, because, not only is it entertaining, but it is also informative for anyone in the same boat.
He may have interest(s) that conflict...
Thank you for sharing. Debbie

Thank you, Debbie. I appreciate your comments. This is story is forcing me to do some research. I didn't anything about interventions, rehab centers, or lawyers.

I would love to have been able to give you a six for this chapter, Beth, but they went really fast. This story is getting to a tense place. Will he balk at the idea of a separation, or be happy about it. He has a lot to lose. He had better start being honest with you and himself. What was that expensive piece of jewellery about? Marsha certainly didn't get it. It's time to get this sorted, he is an alcoholic, and he needs to own the fact!! Excellent, my friend. This is a story, well written and a brilliant read. :)) Sandra xx

I think marsha is smart to doubt everything he tells her and file for separation. I wish she would file for divorcebut l know its hard. I'vebeenthroughit too. Cheaters are cheaters and it's hard to change... no matter how much she wants it. Well done!

Beth,
This is another great chapter in your book. Everything is coming along quite nicely. The book is well organized and flows nicely from beginning to end.

Marsha is facing some tough decisions because it involves the children, the house, and a 20 year marriage. It's good that she is finding out a general roadmap so that she isn't blindsided by anything Trenton may say. A very believable story.

Thank you, Carol, I've never dealt with a lawyer, interventions or alcoholic rehab centers, so this is making me do some research.

Marsha is doing the right thing, getting some legal counsel. She also needs documentation of the missing money. I do like the story.
He hasn't been honest with me and I tend to think it might have been going on for a while. (me,)
"Do you have actual proof of his infidelity. or do you just suspect it?" (infidelity,)

This may be the smoothest read of yours I have read. No hiccups at all. The dialogues were clear and present, and very lifelike, as if experienced.
Well done.

Thank you. This sounds like a nice compliment, unless you were implying most of my writing is terrible. lol

No implying. I found this piece simply flowed without needing thought to understand which was a pleasure.
