Hello LJ,
Yvonne spent two days in the hospital and returned home today. She sounded good when I spoke to her on the phone this morning. She does have to return to the hospital next week for further exams, so please continue to pray for a full recovery.

thanks so much for the glowing review. Yvonne hasn't been on FS very much lately, in part because of her health. If you've never read any of her posts, I would highly recommend doing so. She's a fascinating lady with a great humor.

I'm so encouraged to hear that you have a time of devotions and pray afterwards. Well done! I wish we would all follow suit. I believe prayer changes the world. I'm sure Yvonne would be pleased to know that you're interceding on her behalf. I called her this morning and she's out of the hospital, but needs to return next week for further examination.

Hi Tom,
When I heard from Helen yesterday that Yvonne was in the hospital, I felt like it was the least I could do, to sound the alarm. I spoke to her today. She had just gotten home after two days in the hospital and some surgery to correct her issue. However, she has to return next week for some follow up. Thanks so much for the great review and your concern for our friend.

There is no good time to be ill, Christmas is the worst.
The year before last I spent on the high dependency surgical ward, Christmas dinner was some brown liquid through a tube in my neck.
So I have every empathy Yvonne and have added her to my prayer list.

Oh my Tim,
it sounds like you know all too well how miserable it can be to have to spend any time in a hospital bed. Being there during the holidays is especially troubling. I spoke to Yvonne today, and she was feeling better. She spent two days in the hospital and came home this morning, but needs to go back next week. I appreciate your prayers for her.

thanks so much for your concern for Yvonne. I spoke to her on the phone today and she had just gotten back home. She was two days in the hospital and got squared away, but needs to return next week for another issue they discovered. I'm sure she would covet your prayers my friend.

I noticed soon after I came back to FS that Yvonne was no longer active. I used to exchange comments with her very often back in the day. I'm sorry to hear she's having health issues, and I will certainly send up prayer for her. Thanks for putting this information out.

thanks for interceding for Yvonne. Yes, she hasn't been on here very much for awhile. She suffers with pain that makes it difficult to sit at the computer for very long. I know she would be pleased to know that you're praying for her.

how very nice to hear from you! I think the world of Yvonne. She's one of the very special friends I have met on FS. I'm sure she would be overjoyed with a bag of chips. It runs in my mind she has a fondness for them. I spoke to her today, she had just come home from two days in the hospital. She is doing well, but needs to return next week to deal with another issue they discovered. Please continue to pray for her.
I hope you won't be away for too long, I've missed seeing you, though I understand how it is. If we don't speak before then, I hope you and your family have a very blessed Christmas gal.

I know that Yvonne will be thrilled by the response to that post. I know also that you are a faithful prayer warrior and it encourages me to know that you and others on this site are so diligent in lifting up the needs of others. I actually spoke to Yvonne this morning. I wasn't sure if she was still in the hospital or if she would even answer the phone. As it was, she had just returned home after two days in the hospital. They fixed one problem but discovered another, so she needs to go back next week. If I hear anymore, I'll let you know.

its great to hear from you. Yes, I love the way she writes. I actually spoke to her today. She'd gotten home from two days in the hospital. She sounded great, the same wonderful sense of humor. She mentioned how she must have some special power over little kids. If she's in an area where they are acting up, all she has to do is look at them and they be quiet. I wish I could have had her with me when my kids were young. She's got to return to the hospital next week for another issue that popped up, so I'm sure she would covet your prayers.
