Yes, it's sad. I try to write a variety of types of poems. We, Spanish poets, are very dramatic and passionate.

That's so sad that he is grieving his beloved and having cried a "sea of tears", he remembers her with each poppy he sees. I know poppies are a favorite flower of yours because you used to pick them for your mom.
