Dearest LInda, what a lovely review for my granddaughter, Kenzie and me. I love all of my grandkids but Kenzie is the oldest and we have spent more time together than any others so she is special. As they all are.
Thanks too for the very kind words for my poem and for the generous six stars. I appreciate you so very much, my dear friend. Love, Debi

I know how you feel about Kenzie
being your first...and you getting closer with her...Grace was my first...and we she turned 7...she would go to Florida ever year to stay at my daughters with me...we drove from Illinois to Florida...there and back...they are times I will never forget...we played cloud picture games...and who saw the most out of state licenses...we sang songs...and talked all the way...I had a Lincoln Town car...and she said the back seat was like having her own apartment...
she is all grown up now...and those days are all memories now...she has her own apartment...and wants to start her own grooming business...the lady she works for...is paying her way so she can go to grooming school...
grab every minute you can with Kenzie...time goes by so fast...
your so welcome my beautiful friend...
love much you...Linda xxoo ❤️🤗🌹🙏

Comment from Shanbreen
Debi, this is such cute poem. It awakens memories of my daughter, Shanbreen. She used to tell me she loved me. I would come back with "I love you two" to which she she would come back with "I love you three."
Kenzi is a very lucky girl.

Dearest Shanbreen, I love that you used to do this with your daughter and was she named after you? And what a lovely review for my granddaughter, Kenzie and me. I love all of my grandkids but Kenzie is the oldest and we have spent more time together than any others so she is special. As they all are.
Thanks too for the very kind words for my poem. I appreciate you so very much, my dear friend. Love, Debi

Debi, thanks so much for your kind words. It makes me happy you have such strong ties with your family.
BTW, my name is Husein. Shanbreen was my daughter who passed away, struck by lightning when we were swimming in a lake in Florida. I write in her name.
-
Oh Husein, my heart aches for you as I can't stop the tears. I love children more than anything else on this earth so to hear this breaks my heart completely. I am so so very sorry for your loss, dear friend. I just can't even imagine, especially the way it happened. God bless you and I hope you have found some peace since then. Debi
-
Debi, I was very touched by your response. Shanbreen died quite a few years back, but we still go every year to Florida to visit her grave on the day she passed away.
-
God bless you, as I know how hard it is to lose a child. However, it was my brothers boy, a senior in high school and his car hit a tree and killed him. Travis was like a son to me as the kids stayed with me all the time when mom and dad worked or went out. And my sister lost a 13 year old to leukemia.
Not my children, but the next best thing. God bless, my friend. I will continue to think of you and Shanbreen.
-
Debi. you are such a good human being. I value your friendship. Thank you. BTW, were you an English major? You have a good command of the language.

this is a delightful reminder to your granddaughter that you love her. It 's neat how you used the same rhyme ending for the entire poem. She's blessed to have you for her grandmother! Love you, Verna

As a grandmother myself, I know how much love we have for our grandchildren. It is a well that will never be empty. Every little experience we share draws up buckets of love that naturally overflows. More and more!

Kenzie is a gorgeous young woman! You have such a gorgeous relationship! This is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful grandaughter, I'm sure it was no surprise to her at all that this ended up being a full poem, she knows you well enough hehe! 'I love you more' sentiment you have going on is just the sweetest.
I really enjoyed this, she sounds like a remarkable young woman!!
Best Wishes
Nicki xoxo

Parents really are funny creatures. I used to play that game with my daughter and now with my granddaughter. But when I'd send them to bed at 8.30pm, they'd say, I don't love you anymore, Poppy.

Well Poppy, that's what you get when you send them so early. Is it them that should be in bed, or is it Poppy that wants to go to bed early. Hahahaha.
I love that you do this game with them too. Grandkids are too precious for words. I always tell my kids they must be my reward for not selling my own kids. LOL.. there just was not time for the fun like we have with the grands.
Yet, Kenzie and my oldest grandson are both 21 now' and I would like to have them bring me to your place now to buy a bottle of your wine.
We talked about it once before about the time I did your birthday card.
Shoot Is it legal to ship if I could buy one from you?
Thanks a lot Bob, and would you let me know. Love, Debi
