I still think your alternating use of Matthew and Donatelli can be confusing, especially if you have a new reader on board.
There are two sentences at the end of the paragraph that begins, "Garth exhaled slowly, unsure how ..." These two sentences are one. Should read, "But now, as he sat there watching Donatelli stew in the aftermath of his outburst, he knew they both had to settle their disagreements."
Although I enjoy it when people use dialogue to tell the story and move it along, I felt like the scene with Matthew and Garth played out a tad too long ... like dialogue was being repeated. That's my only criticism here, as I really am enjoying this story.

Good! Garth and Donatelli are sorting out their own issues as well as Garth helping him to see sense over Jenna. And it seems Matthew's memory is returning steadily so it's all coming together well. Well done.

This chapter was fantastic. When Donatelli saw his baby girl, it brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of my husband's reaction when he first looked through the glass at his baby girl in an incubator.
You captured all of Donatelli's emotions and feelings perfectly and realistically. Throughout this journey, all of your dialogue between characters has been phenomenal. Your deep understanding of human nature is evident, and it makes your novels relatable and memorable.

My dear, sweet friend, you always make me feel so special, and I can't thank you enough. I'm over 200 reviews behind (appreciated but mind-blowing), but I have two chapters to go. Be ready for tomorrow. I'm hoping it is something you would never have expected. I've got to read to get enough to post, though. But I'm excited, and then there will be the final chapter. I don't know whether to post it tomorrow or Saturday on the final day. Was I right about this one being the best of the three? And do you think in January I do a fourth or are people getting tired of Eleanor? I've been blessed, and that's for sure. Thank you so much for the stars and, more importantly, for your support.

I love detective stories. That is all I've read over the past 30 years, from James Paterson, to John Grisham, Scott Turow, J.A. Jance, and many more. Then I came to FanStory and met you. A ghost detective is a refreshing new idea. I, for one, am not tired of Eleanor.

Me either! I need to figure out a short for December...don't want to lose my place in the lineup... and then a theme for the next Eleanor... What do we want to see developing?

Don't tell anyone and spoil my old roughneck image, but I'm a big old softy for the gentler designs of life, love and romance and whatever comes next.
Thanks for sharing.

Great conversation between Donatelli and Garth. I'm glad they finally cleared the air between them, and that Garth set Matthew on a path toward building a relationship with Jenna and baby Margaret. Great chapter! Blessings. Carol

I'm in tears! The goosebumbs are huge on my arms and the hairs on the back of my head are sticking up!! That was so beautiful, Carol, very, very, beautiful! I was in the room with Garth, helping him to make Matthew see sense, and he did it! Seeing baby Margaret was the clincher, and seeing Jenna had given her his name, that was amazing. I think you are just about there now, only a few loose ends. This has been a fabulous book, my friend, you are a natural story teller. Well done. Love you lots, Sandra xxx

This was one of my favorites as well. I'm glad when you can see my vision the same way I do when I write it. I want the emotions to reach out and grab you. Thanks so much.
