Miranda was really having a good day until Dougie came around messing with her. I wouldn't want him to find out about the reward money, I'm sure he have a way to make it disappear.

He probably already knows. Small town gossip spreads fast. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

I love it! That slimeball having his car painted over, now people will start looking at him and wondering....
As for Dougie, I don't think Santa wants him messing up him home! Lol. I do wonder what has really brought him home. It certainly wasn't Waylon, that's for sure.
So, what is Miranda going to do with all that money? I'm sure Waylon is in for a surprise, shoes and boat?? I would love to be able to surprise my family with lovely gifts, but not possible on my pension. This was a lovely chapter, my friend. Well done! :)) Sandra xx

I've got a pretty tight budget myself, but in my imagination, I've spent it all. Lol. Thank you so much. Gretchen

Another alright chapter. Just one possible spag. The rest was great!
Maybe the apple does('nt) fall far from the tree.
Loved this "It's cheaper than therapy"
And this "where he will freeze his over sized ego off."

Miranda is so honest, and down-to-earth. It's good she's excited to be able to do a few special things for the people she cares about. Dougie is annoying, trying to put the blame on Miranda for his decision to leave. He's a user. I hope he doesn't lure Waylon away, just to get even. Good writing. A story which absorbs because it is realistic in content and dialogue.

Miranda and Waylon's discussion of their Santa lists was amusing. Miranda and Mitch's discussion about her sudden wealth was interesting. From her point of view, I must have really loved my week working for a florist who threw bouquets at any of us who made ones she didn't like. I just hope her last discussion with Dougie doesn't make him take Waylon away from her out of pure meanness.

Of course Dougie will try to use Waylon against her. He's a manipulative rat. Thank you so much for this wonderful review and the extra star. Gretchen

Very much enjoyed that one. Revenge is sweet and it is always nice to know you have enough money to fund the campaign. Tiny error: copied here: you to needs to be you too. I enjoy your writing. Esther
