This was such a neat poem. You give the breeze a personality. I could visualize a woman, comforting and soothing someone distraught or upset. Skillfully written. Gretchen

A romantic haiku that involves the senses of sight, sound and touch. The sensuous imagery of being caressed by the wind is beautifully highlighted by the artwork. I can almost hear the seagulls...and taste the salty air

Interesting picture. How do they make these things? Your poetry styling invoked a feeling of the wind blowing the hair off my neck. Loosening my long sleeves, Messing up my hair. And, I was inside at the time! Karen

There are many warm, descriptive words in the lovely huiku, Santha, it's almost as if the wind is flirting with you. I love it. And the picture that you used goes with your words as if it was actually painted for your poem. Very well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Nice romantic haiku presenting the wind as a comforting friend, almost like a guardian angel and topped off with a splendid alliteration in the last line.
I like the pic too which adds to the romantic feeling of the piece.

Well written Sanku. In the Book of Psalms, it says "And God sent the south wind to cool the land." In a hot country such as yours, a cooling wind would be so welcome. I found your poem very descriptive, I could feel the wind embracing me. K xx

I love the "hug" of the wind. Great use of alliteration!
In the last line, did you mean "silken"? I didn't know the word "siken" in "heaven's siken sigh."
