The action is heating up and I can't wait to read more. Eleanor was ready to tell Garth about Matthew, but other things were happening. This is going to be good.

Yes, he was focused on catching William, and Eleanor wanted to tell him about Matthew. Oh yeah, and then, of course, there is the situation about Allie, too. Our Cowboy has his hands full.

Oh you definitely put a big smile on my face with this one, dear. I am thrilled you are enjoying this one and I too can't wait to put Spirited Justice (the 2nd in the series) and this one in print. It's exciting!

Have you talked to your publisher? Maybe they have some ideas. I'm sure there is a ton of info on line how to do it. I don't know either or I'd help you.

We all suffer from the rules on books, seem to have to read chapters in the book, not the first chapters though. It is like eating the center of the cake or pie first, the eating the rest outward.

If you are enjoying what you read, Rick, then I am blessed and happy. I write for others to enjoy my endeavors as much as I do writing them. Thank you so much.

It's a pretty good detective story. I love the description of the Hideway. I think I've been in that bar, with the scratched tables and the sticky floor. It's a great visual image with the neon signs blinking. One sentence didn't make sense. Crystal, "Now and then, she said, her voice barely audible. I didn't know what the now and then referred to. Also, I wonder if you shouldn't have Crystal introduce herself. Further down the story, she is talking to Bruiser, and I ask who that is. Minor comments in a good story. gayla

These characters were introduced in earlier chapters so the reader might have already met them. Crystal is a bartender and Bruiser is the bouncer. He also abuses Crystal with his size and authority. His turn will come though in the end. Thanks for reading this chapter. I appreciate it.

Yet another twist and the plot thickens ever more
Am loving the way this is coming along.
I may be able to write a bit of fantasy but you sure know your way around a crime thriller.
