As a humble human, I accept all of Go's teachings, or at least I do my best. But lovng my "Foes" has always been a tough one for me. I enjoyed this line of your poem the most: "Love your neighbour, love your Lord,
to love your foe, all those abhorred."

This is very beautifully written. Love is truly everything. God is Love and if you are his child, love for others is what motivates you. God loves all of his children and with love in heart there is not room for hate.

What a truly great poem! Add a reminder that one is real and what is not. Echoes Jesus's message. Love one another, as I have loved you. I'm happy to see this! Love is the only thing that matters. And, it's the only thing you take home with you and the only thing on the other side.

Love is the most beautiful thing in the entire universe and especially the love the father has for his children. Beautiful poem with meaning. This should be a reminder to those that have forgotten love and forgiveness.

Hello Roy.
Paul certainly takes time in Corinthians to describe the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He goes through the definitive list but in the end, he says the greatest of all the gifts is love, which is well expressed in your poem.

The greatest commandment is to love each other. Jesus modeled this for us, and we still get it wrong. We are all children of God. He loves all of us. Thank you for sharing this very important message. God inspired this poem. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Love forms so easily in our hearts and wants to be shared, but we as humans tend to make it much more difficult by putting constrictions on how it is shared. Love is the only way in the eyes of the Lord.

During and following our election, there has been so much hatred spread on this site against our elected president. There is also resentment that women supposedly don't have control over their bodies. I say, if any of them were born here without the will and help of God, then they are in control of their bodies. Otherwise, life and death are in God's hands. We need love and forgiveness, not words of hate.

This is stunning Roy, a little bit more move will make the world go around. When I was about 10 or so and my parents split up. I was feeling disoriented and I made up a prayer to God in hope things would get better and 2 of my chosen lines within were, 'if we treated each other in love in the the way You treat us never in the world would there ever be fuss, Lord let your great love fly like a beautiful dove, high in the blue smiles above.
Sorry for almost making the review of your poem all about that lol! What am I like!
