A cabin in the woods is my ideal spot for a vacation and I have done it a few times but you are definitely right about wearing some comfortable slacks because there isn't a modern convenience to be found and the clothes you wear will make a big difference. thanks for sharing.

I love it there. Living in Tennesse, I visited many times. Sometimes there is a lot of traffic but you can rent bikes or ride horses through trails as well as drive.

Been there many times.
Poem captures the history and essence of Cade's Cove spot on.
Much to see there including bear and deer, and, oh yea, bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Thank you, Brett. You are right about the traffic. Sometimes it takes forever to drive through, especially if someone spots a bear.

Thank you, Dolly. Yes, I took the picture my Shelby signature is in the bottom right. I like to play with putting frames on them. I've taken many pictures in cade cove. There is beautiful scenery and animals to take.
