I love the old hymns and have been picking them out more on the piano since moving here. The poetry of the old hymns are beautiful and your response in your reassuring 5-7-5 shows faith in the One Who controls the winds and seas.

There is such a comfort knowing that the Lord is our sold rock, and when we are sinking into the mire and sand we can cry out to the living God and He will come to our side, beautifully written, Melissa, blessings Roy

A beautiful 5-7-5 of faith. Comparing life's struggles to a huge storm is a perfect choice and your picture captures the message of your poem. Thanks for sharing.

What a lovely poem! I really appreciate the strength that shines through your words. The imagery of storms creates a sense of turmoil. Yet your message of unwavering support is uplifting. I love how you share a message of faith and hope in difficult times. Keep sharing your inspiring voice!

From the title, My Hope, I wouldn't expect bible verses in the notes and a cross in the distance of the sky in your artwork. Please, if this is for a contest, place this under the spiritual category instead of general poetry.
The 5-7-5 is spiritual as well, by the way.

I haven't seen or read you recently, but today's message links with my Sunday School preparation for this Sunday which speaks about Christian Courage, which you display continuously praising the Lord.
