Hi, I enjoyed reading your poem. I especially like in the beginning where you say: rhythmic waves. Tgr poem describes the picture well and is a good choice for the poem. Great writing.

I love the image of the ocean and the analogy to God. You have a smooth nonet form and I admire your rhyming of words in your first two lines. Excellent nonet form and use of words.

An excellent entry for the Nonet Poetry contest. This was beautifully written and the imagery that comes to mind from your words is strong. I can almost hear the powerful sound of the surf. Best of luck in the contest.

This is incredibly impactful, with each line adding to the weight of the message. It feels like a quiet, reflective prayer, urging the reader to sit with the immensity of the divine. Beautifully crafted and deeply moving.

I love everything about this post. The visual is stunning, including the way the words are presented. I love even more the message that the post presents, and something struck me as odd or even arresting, part of the photo resembles human hair.

I don't we humans can possibly grasp the dimensions of God, and yet Jesus says, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father, so you see, you are in the same realm, Jesus is all we need to see, well done, D&V, blessings Roy

This is a well constructed and inspiring nonet, ultimately comparing the awesome magnitude of the ocean (God's creation and embodiment) with our own humble, mortal grasp. The first 2 lines are my favourite. Thanks for sharing your excellent contest entry, Don, and good luck! Debbie

First, your words describe to me the power of the ocean waves rolling against the imposing rocks, and then it moves us to know that God is far greater than that and we must believe in his powers, regardless if we understand.

I enjoyed reading this clever poem. The imagery is vivid, and "cresting, breaking, thunderous roar" in particular is beautiful. The image is great too. Well done. - Terry
