It would help the reader if you could make the font bigger on the screen. They eyes get lost and having to find your way back in takes away from the story being told.
Other than that, it was a great story. I love how you encourage the reader and I was excited to see his surprise. A book, how wonderful.

Congratulations on your hundredth post, Barry. You have shown a great imagination in this one. If only more youngsters could have experiences like his.

Paul,
Great to have your review. Hope you are well. Bikes were a big part of my early life. So much fun can be had on them. It appears a lot of younger ones do not follow such a path. A pity indeed.
Regards
Barry.

We all need a Mr. Pendleberry to help us with our skinned knees and a little direction home. What a wonderfully written story. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Mike,
Thanks for your kind review. Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I too have had plenty of skinned knees due to falling and crashing my bike at the time.
Have a great day.
Cheers
Barry

Michael,
Thanks for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed the story. I used to do a lot of bike riding when younger. So much fun. A lot of falls as well.
Take care
Barry.

I loved this. This is a good childhood, and it is also what some of us lose as we grow up. I have a lot of kid left in me. I am wearing my Disney "Stitch" pajamas while I type. Life no matter how long your life is it is short, in my opinion. :-) Karen

Well, my favorites would be to have a pair of pajamas of Dot from Animaniacs, Because as she firmly states, "She is the cute one." Karen
