I can't believe it! You tossed Rachelle out of her own party and left Jane there? If you'd played your cards right, Jane would have left with Lance and maybe they could have all got to together at his place. ...and just wearing a bathrobe.
Cute and funny. Way to go!

So glad you enjoyed it, Carol. Yeah, I thought I would mix things up and throw a stink bomb into the mix.

I actually did think about Jane and Lance hooking up, but I just couldn't get that to work. He has much better taste in women than Jane.

Nice take on you trip to the FanStory convention. It's hard to believe Jane would plagiarize someone poem on clouds because she is porn star who doesn't believe anything, but porn is worthy poetry and Rachelle's poem leans more in that direction.

Thanks, Beth. I believe Jane would plagiarize just about anything if she could get away with it and fool people. Kind of like a couple of politicians I know.

This is you at your absolute best, Jim! I laughed all the way through and particularly enjoyed your references to Lance! You were lucky to drag him away from his hookers! But the lure of a food fight was obviously too much erotic fun to miss! Love the poetry contest too: there may have been some vote rigging but you can't allow for offensive poetry to prevail. I'm afraid this has to be a virtual 6 but thank you so much. This was a joy to read. Take care Debbie

Thanks so much, Debbie. This was a blast participating in this story. I thought to myself a couple weeks ago how it would be fun to add a chapter to this story, and lo and behold, we got the opportunity to do it.

I particularly enjoyed poking a little fun at Lance, who often gives me such grief. And Rachelle is so teasable, I couldn't resist.

It's so much fun reading everyone's versions. This has been an outstanding story, made all the better by allowing this participation.

What! You made Rachelle leave the party?! And left us with the obnoxious Jane? Now we'll have to listen to her whining all evening! I'm loving all these contributions, and I couldn't help but smile with yours! Such fun!

Yes, this is so much fun reading all these versions. I just thought I'd throw a stink bomb into the mix.

How wonderfully creative and fun-loving everyone is here. What a great group to be a part of.

Ohhhh, I see how it goes here! Throwing me out of my own party AND likening me to Donald Trump! Brutal, Jim Wile.

But that little allegory about "This seems over the top for Rachelle. Perhaps she's been sorely provoked by this person but we're not aware of it." You sly dog! Subtle and delicious.

Well, it's pretty pathetic to lose my spot @ the party by two votes. I think it calls for an Insurrection!

Anyway, thanks so much for contributing. This was a totally fun read.

You are just like my daughter in my family, Rachelle: eminently teasable. And we gang up on her, but she takes it well and even gives it back sometimes.

This was so much fun, and I'm having a ball reading the other FanStorians' versions too. What a great idea you and Gretchen had to open it up like this.

Being involved in reading, reviewing, and even participating in your story has been one of the most entertaining times I've had since joining FanStory. What a great group to be a part of!

We have been so delighted with the response...and yes, even the teasing part!

Believe it or not, a couple of weeks ago, I thought to myself how fun it would be to be able to add a chapter to this story. I pictured myself getting rid of Jane for you, which is quite ironic in terms of what I actually came up with.

Yeahhh! What's with THAT, Jim! I invite you to my penthouse party, and then you invent the way I'M the one who gets voted off the island? Redhead Wrath may be in your very near future, Buddy-Boy!! xoxoxox

    Ooo! Sounds exciting.

I don't think you've read any of my golf novels, but my favorite character who appears in all of them is a gorgeous redhead named Abby. She will definitely be in the sequel to Duel with the Devil.
reply by Rachelle Allen on 29-Oct-2024
I don't know, Jim; TWO redheads in your life? That's kind of dangerous...

Great entry. And that 'thing' was my ray gun!
Very nicely done. But I can't believe you threw Rachelle out of her own party.
Best wishes.

That was perhaps a tad cruel, but the rules are the rules (even though there may have been some cheating.)

Dang, I've now read Gretchen and Rachelle's Powder Keg posts and Wendy's and your follow up posts
This is so much fun to read I can't get enough. You and Wendy have done spectacularly!
I'm not sure if I can compete!

Fun read, Jim.

Well done Jim, we couldn't possibly leave you out of the story, so I'm glad you got in on the act, flip flops are very difficult to dance rock and roll in, not to mention my broad brimmed Aussie, Akubra hat, and that Jane, wasn't she something, well done Jim, great post, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy. This whole story has been a blast, and it was a great gesture on Rachelle and Gretchen's part to open it up to the readers to contribute. I've loved all the characterizations of the FanStorians from all the authors. This has been great fun!

Oh Jim, this is so entertaining and inventive and Rachelle is going to fall off her seat laughing at this one. But Rachelle is such a classy lady and just cannot imagine her writing a poem like this no matter how much she dislikes Jane. But this is your version of what happened and I just loved that dragged Lance away from his hookers to join the party! Ha ha ha, he's not going to live that one down in a hurry.

Seriously Jim, you pushed the boundaries here I almost choked on my champagne when I read your vivid and incendiary tale! Thank goodness I kept in the background here and only gave up my earrings, as my dignity remained in tact.

Poor Rachelle in tears after all she had been through to get to this convention, life can be unfair sometimes.

You are hilarious Jim, I wish I had a six left for you as I was thoroughly entertained here, love Dolly x

Oh, Dolly. You're the best! I'm glad you enjoyed this. "Poor Rachelle" is right. She bore the brunt of this, and it was fun to poke a little fun at her. I'm not sure she will be pleased about being somewhat likened to Trump, but we'll see. I enjoyed poking a little fun at Lance too.
