Yup, age is just a number. But - we do feel anxious each time that date rolls around! On the other hand, each new year brings more opportunities to make new friends, keep in touch with old ones, and to write about your blessings. Keep smiling and embrace each minute.

My mother taught me many things, but one stands tallest in my mind. She said, "Why bitch, actually she used the word complain, about things you can't control, don't give them the chance of wearing you down? Fight about what you can fix.'
She was right. But gee it took me a long time to learn.
I volunteer in a train museum. Someone came in today and told me a joke. Why do they have mail trains? I foolishly asked. Femail trains don't work.
Apologies, but the medication is working.

Thanks for the poem Debi. Excellent as usual. We pretty well all become a bit obsessed with age. Especially as we get older. But you are right not to think about age at all. In fact, I often feel released because of my age.
