This is really cute. Great rhyme, and I think Debi will love it and the Happy witch picture. To give my personal thinking, I reflect back on when I was in elementary school. We had a room mother, and every month we'd celebrate the birthdays of every kid in the room who had a birthday that month. I don't remember what we did about the kids whose birthdays fell during the summer. What I'm trying to say, it's hard to remember everyone's birthday, and feelings are bound to be hurt if someone's left out. You'd end up spending all your time writing individual birthday wishes. Not criticizing your poem, but that's the way I feel. judi

I love to see people, online or otherwise, being friends. I was on another site before here and they were the meanest and nastiest I have ever read. You probably wax poetically just ordering lunch. The waiter looks at you with a question mark on his face often doesn't he.

Believe it or not, I'm so shy at first that people get very annoyed.

well, I am, too. At meetings of a group of people I don't know, I don't just go up to people and introduce myself. I am not gregarious.

Gretchen, my one talent, if you can call it that is poetry off the top of my head. Weird, I know, but I thank you. I thought her birthday was tomorrow and then I read somebody's birthday poem to her, and had to come up with something quick as half the day was gone.
