Bravo, Bravo, my dear friend. I could picture myself sitting in a theatre watching the movie version of this story of sadness, fear, loss, courage, determination, bravery, and end result being on top of the game and the world. And the fact that you don't let blindness define you, is so big!!!!
Nothing can stop our gal, Sal. Not when you worked so hard to be one of the best. And the fact that you give top billing to our Lord and Savior, you can't lose. Your battle has been won and we are cheering you on. Keep on reaching for those stars until the day Jesus reaches out and gives you a better view.
Loved your I survived story. I know it wasn't as simple as all that, because I know how frustrating my form of blindness is right now.
