I can visualise that feeling of terror as the boat was poised ready to plunge - sometimes one can't even scream! Very dramatic and excellent writing.

The twist at the end made me smile, I'm sure there are many of us who have had a dream similar, it reminds me of the ones where you're standing at the edge of a tall building and about to fall. A well written piece, Carol, I enjoyed reading it.
