This is a wonderful poem and it's so true, I know from experience.
However, please check your syllable count in your second line, I believe there's only six syllables. Please check before this lovely poem goes to the contest committee for approval.

Hi Bill, thank you for reading my poem. I am not sure how you counted though but here is what the second line reads:
This love isn't found, it's built. So I know what the problem is here. There are so many sites that debate syllables. And I have always counted isn't as two syllables, as many syllable counting sites do, but some say one.
So maybe what I should do is either claim it in my notes or else write is not and that might be better. So I thank you for your kind comment about this. I am not sure who is right here, but it never hurts to be cautious. So thanks again. You are so kind.

Personally, I think "is not" sounds
and looks much better in this situation and the voters seem to thinks so also, right now your entry is on the way to winning this contest. There is a site called, Howmanysyllables.com that I downloaded and I've been using for years, it has never been wrong, so far.

Well LOL, one thing for sure, Bill, nobody can debate the words is not being two syllables. So thank you again. I will stick to How many syllables..com for now on and not trust the other sites.

I can relate and attest to this statement. At the time of my wife's death a few days ago, we had been happily married for 51 years. As a matter of fact she died just two days after we celebrated our fifty first anniversary.
We never separated during all that time. We knew each other so well that surprising either one of us was virtually impossible. I gave up trying, besides I lost any desire to even try to keep anything a secret from her.

I'd say I'm officially in the age group that can say through life's experience this is true, true, true!
We don't get to experience this without some give-and-take, compromise, and a healthy dose of compassion.
When our "true love's" happiness is as important to us as our own, both parties win!
