Spring fever is obviously a thing! It's good to look ahead and find it still brightening the lives of those in their later years. I liked the humour in this one and a definite glee in the season.

Yes, you do think of all of that when you are older.
I like the picture of someone sitting somewhere just enjoying the outside and remembering the past. Your poem is rhythmical.
