I used to enjoy watching the Twilight Zone. I like his voice and the stories were always intriguing. I see I can still get the reruns on televisions. This is good is a good tribute and sounds as though the story belongs in the Twilight Zone.

This took me back! I could hear Rod Serling's voice in the voiceovers, and the mysterious unanswered question at the end was a perfect conclusion. Good work !

I've always been a giant Rod Sterling and Twilight Zone fan, so I'm glad to have run across your post. Your last line should make us all wonder if just maybe we are our own worst enemies. Thanks for sharing.

That was excellent! I loved the Twilight Zone, and this is perfect for it. Perhaps you should submit it to the television company? It's a brilliant script and told the story as easily as the show does. Super well done!! Good luck in the contest. :) Sandra xx

I'm ashamed to say I'm not familiar with this man but I have heard of The Twilight Zone. But I am impressed by the quite surreal drama that unfolds here and the philosophical question in the conclusion. This tribute is faultlessly written with quite stunning imagery and inspires me to want to read/watch more from this writer. Thanks for sharing and good luck! Debbie

Interesting! I've never been into Sci-fi or The Twilight Zone but from reading this, you certainly have zoned in on it and done a good job of it. Strange, weird, and perfectly fitting!

This is a great story. A lot of imagination went into it. It is well written. I used to watch twilight zone when I was a kid. I liked it even though it was scary. Great jpb.

I think Rod would be very proud. I remember an episode that was similar to this, but it might be a Bradbury Theatre or both. What a wonderfully written piece. Good luck in the contest! Have a great day, and God bless.

An excellent entry for the Tribute to Rod Serling contest. LOL I can hear Rod's voice and the music! Great job on this tribute and the story would have been very similar to something he would have shown us.

Thank you. I am editing it right now and adding a story synopsis and ending monologue so it won't be disqualified.
