She's not getting very far with him is she? He's as slippery as an eel.
I like the thought processes and the dialogue is also excellent, building up character. We can see that Marsh isn't a walk-over and will be out to investigate further. A lot of potential here, Beth. Well done! How did you do with the first chapter or don't you know yet? Take care Debbie

Thank you, Debbie. I appreciate the reviews. The first chapters haven't been judged yet, but I'm not likely to do much. The only thing long I ever won on was a rant.

The reluctance to follow through with plans for a divorce shouldn't be something one should consider until absolutely necessary, counselling is a good course, but it depends on the willingness of both partners, this sounds like a slight departure from your usual plot dear Beth, , well done, you're a story machine dear Carol, blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy, I not a fiction writer so I will confess this really isn't fiction. It is a very close friend's story with all the names changed. She talked to me about it so much, I feel like I know what happened.

Your continuing saga is coming along just fine. Marsha and Trenton are not at all like my wife and I were. If Trenton is being what it seems he is, I hope he gets his comeuppance. There were two very minor typos: Second paragraph, Trenton is spelled wrong and "Do you think the two of us might go out for meal" (a meal?)

Thank you, Jim. Thankfully they aren't like my husband and I either. We would never have cheated. I appreciate your comments.

That's a mark of a good writer. You can write about something but not necessarily experience all of it in real life.

Interesting story that is keeping my attention and bringing me back for more. Marriage is hard! One small typo.

This is very well group nanny kept my attention the whole way through. I enjoyed very much listening. Sometimes marriages do go through some difficult difficulties and it sounds like in this story that there's difficulty taking place. Patricia.

A really good book, Beth!! It's fiction, which you don't do often, but I really like it. You built your characters and setting well. Conflict is already evident. His behavior certainly sounds iffy to me!!

Great job,
Rhonda

It looks like a little hanky panky might be going on, but giving the benefit of the doubt... a person is innocent until proven guilty. In Trenton's case, I think the jury might have already decided. Well done! Looking forward to reading more.
Smiles, Carol

I'm not believing Trent. If he cheated once, he cheated again. I am liking this story.

have a new Client, and we've scheduled a dinner meeting for this evening. (Lower case 'c' on 'client'.)

If it wasn't for his drinking problem it likely wouldn't be happening. (problem,)

This is shaping up to be an interesting story. The way you've presented the facts reveal to the reader that there is more going on than Marsha is willing to accept.
